Every morning before school, she makes her plans.
Mommy, today evening we need to do this play and that play…
I smile, nod, and secretly comfort myself, She’ll forget by evening. She always does.
Or so I think.
The moment she bursts through the door after school, it’s like a lightning strike in her brain.
Mommy! We have to play Wheels on the Bus! Right now!
Oh no. How does she remember all this? Even I forget what she told me in the morning, but her little brain keeps it safe, like a secret treasure chest of fun.
And from that moment until sleep finally closes her eyes, my world is filled with her world - role plays, games, songs, and dances.
Exhausting? Yes.
But magical? Absolutely.
